Keep Windows 11 from updating drivers

1. Press the Windows key + R to open the Run dialog.


2. Type gpedit.msc and press Enter to open the Local Group Policy Editor.


3. Navigate to the following path in the left pane: Computer Configuration > Administrative Templates > Windows Components > Windows Update > Manage updates offered from Windows Update.


4. In the right pane, double-click on the policy named "Do not include drivers with Windows Updates".

Select the Enabled option to prevent Windows Update from installing drivers.

Click Apply, then click OK.To immediately apply the changes, open Command Prompt as an administrator and run gpupdate /force, or restart your computer.
